There is too much talk about love. About the kind where everything is easy, like in advertising, and passionate, like in a TV series. But real love is not like that. It is not always beautiful. And it is almost never convenient.

Love is not when they tell you that you are beautiful. It is when they see you without makeup, tired, in a breakdown - and do not leave. Do not get scared. Do not close themselves off. But stay. Nearby. Silently. Just there.

Working in an ambulance is not just a profession, it is a way to survive inside yourself. When you look pain, fear, and loss in the eye every day, you either break or gather yourself from the fragments to rise again. I chose the latter. Not out of heroism. But because there is no other way.

A pause before something bold.
A moment of control.
A quiet kind of flirtation.

Some men rush to fill the silence.
Others… know how to enjoy it.
Those are the ones I find most intriguing.
