How dare she???

tests, checks and many more thing that only show absence of confidence!
my friend is still single at her 40 because she tests patience of all men she meet! she tests it in all ways... she cooks something terrible and check how he will eat it. she pretends that she is in danger to see their reaction!
why is that for? man is not the object of tests!
I am curious if she would like to be the object of such tests herself...
I claim I would never do such thing.
