How I took the risk of starting over at 60 (and why my biggest fear isn't age)

You know, I never bought into clichés about one’s "remaining years," or the idea that life turns into a quiet TV-watching routine on the sofa once you cross a certain threshold. At sixty, I run a business, speak fluent English, pack my bags at a moment’s notice, and easily change my surroundings whenever I feel I’ve stagnated. I have a rich, fascinating life behind me—one filled with journeys, discoveries, and achievements.

But today, I want to talk to you about something else. With complete honesty and without sugarcoating anything.

I was recently asked: "Tamara, what are you most afraid of? Heights? Crises? Being alone in old age?"

And you know what? I answered honestly: I’m not afraid of change, of fresh starts, or of taking that first step. Over the years, I’ve learned to weather business storms and navigate the sharpest twists and turns all on my own. My only real fear is fading out of someone’s life without ever having met "the one"—the fear of never sharing a morning coffee with someone who understands me without a word.

Behind that independence, those blue eyes, and that sharp business acumen lies a very gentle, vulnerable woman—someone who cherishes the quiet of the evening, the soft glow of a lamp, and the warmth of human touch. I have so much tenderness, devotion, and care to give, yet simply no one to share it with.

That is why I am here. And I have two questions for you:
